I had bought disarm and it did not let me use it. Whenever I clicked the item to use it, it would instantly cancel itself so I could never apply it. Even spamming didn’t work. There were a couple times where I could hear the rattle of it being cast, but it didn’t cast(Video 1). I was suggested by a teammate to try moving around my actives, I couldn’t move disarm. It would just make other items disappear(Video 2). Selling it for another item, I bought slowing hex, it fixed and I could use slowing hex(Video 3). Maybe it was because of the conditions I bought it. I had superior and improved cooldown queued in auto buy but I was spamming to buy disarming to try and override the auto buy for cooldown. This created a weird interaction where the menu popped up to sell improved cooldown for half its price, the standard selling menu. This menu should not have appeared because I just bought it. It should just automatically sell. Then when it was upgraded to superior cooldown, it sold instantly, as expected. I sold cooldown and bought disarming. Then it never worked. It contributed to multiple fight losses.
I was told in the discord deadlock-competitive chat that someone had a doorman yesterday who was complaining about the same issue, but with phantom strike.
